If you are new to the Paleo diet and you need some ideas for breakfast, I am happy to share my personal choices to serve you as a source of inspiration.
Most of my breakfasts are based on dried fruit. I love dates, figs and raisins. I have some awesome power bar recipes my kids absolutely love, so cook them very often.
When I’m in a hurry, I opt for healthy smoothies. They take less than 10 minutes to prepare and about 10 seconds to drink. My favorite Joyfoodsdiet.com Paleo Diet breakfast is a smoothie based on kale, avocado and peach. It is healthy and delicious, but unfortunately, I can only get peaches here for a few months per year, so I can’t prepare it all year round.
On Saturdays and Sundays, I like to elaborate more on my breakfasts, so I choose frittatas, egg muffins or omelets with lots of good things such as bacon, tomatoes, basil and mushrooms.
When time allows, I prepare more sophisticated breakfasts. Baked eggs in prosciutto cups are among my greatest hits ever. I really have a hard time stopping my kids from overeating each time I cook this dish. Paleo is truly delicious when you know how to cook.…
